An extremely disturbing article on the use of DU by American troops in Iraq. These awful tales I hear of current "post-war" Iraq disappoint me, because they prove that I was right in being against the war. I knew that if we invaded Iraq, innocent people would die. I have seen way too many pictures of Iraqi people, mostly children, wounded by cluster bombs to feel that our involvement was necessary. I hated Hussein, sure. But I am truly disgusted by the way America decided to ignore the UN. I just know this will bring serious repercussions for us in the future. *sigh* And I really hate how any anti-war protestor is labelled as being anti-troops. Okay, that's enough about that. Go to the Monitor and see what you think.
